Brand Introduction
As the global leader in the design, manufacture and distribution of ophthalmic lenses, EssilorLuxottica has been determined in raising public awareness of the importance of good vision. The Company launched an open learning platform — EYEQME in China, with the mission of redefining how people learn about Eyewear and Eyecare. The platform is featured with educational content, knowledge and tools on eye health management.

Challenges
Since the introduction of EYEQME Mini-Program 1.0, the well-designed, high-quality educational content and the exceptional learning experience help the Company grow the customer base continuously. In order to craft a more engaging and connected customer experience, EYEQME needs a Member Operation Centre (MOC) that supports a variety of digital marketing campaigns, events and programs to drive customer loyalty.

Why PEKON
A learning experience can’t be static, it must always be changing, and responding to the needs of its users and advances in technology. PEKON therefore contributed an expansion of new features for EYEQME, including gamification and online self-examination of vision health.
PEKON established a Member Operation Centre (MOC) for EYEQME to enable better customer acquisition and retention. Core functions and modules such as tagging & segmentation, content management, user incentives & rewards, etc. have been developed. The MOC is deeply intertwined with EYEQME Mini-Program to help the Company capture their user’s habitual behaviors (e.g. read articles, completing a survey) so that personalized interactions and communications can be delivered for different target audience groups. The nimble system tailors each learning experience based on the individual user’s interests and needs, recommends content and services, tracks favourites and highlights knowledge that users might need.
